The candidate will serve as an all-source intelligence analyst with a focus on GIS analysis and production.
The candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining a Geospatial FISHNet database on a global, regional and localized scale while able to cross a number of functional and technical disciplines in regards to C4I. The analyst will be responsible for assisting in the analysis and production of indicators, warnings and opportunities on DOD, partner or adversary C4I products. The analyst should have an understanding of MIDB/NPW to assist in maintaining the FISHNET database. The analyst will be expected to research daily intelligence traffic and provide summaries when required on military, geopolitical and economic issues with a specific C4I focus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
The analyst should be proficient in the use of ArcMap (9.x, 10.x, or Pro) and be able to create/edit entities in ArcMap. The analyst should be able to use ArcMap to produce graphics in support of written production on undersea cables or DOD infrastructure products. The analyst must have initiative to task outside agencies and ensure that contributions are made in a timely manner. Briefing complex topics to diverse audiences is often required. Working well in a team environment is vital. An active TS/SCI and eight years of related experience is required.
An understanding of the use of imagery software (Cedalion and/or RemoteView) for imagery analysis is helpful. Helpful skills include developing and presenting briefs to office leadership, knowledge of all the basic office-related software, experience using intelligence collection databases and a basic understanding of GIS, imagery and the collection tasking (HUMINT, GEOINT etc). A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
