Job Description:

The Defense Group of Leidos has an opening for a Sr. Physical Security Representative at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Sr. Physical Security Representative in support of the AFNCR IT Services program at the National Military Command Center (NMCC). The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas are: IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment. This lead position will be responsible for implementing the physical / personnel security plan for the program at all supported customer sites, overseeing security support staff, serving as the program’s representative to the customer for reporting status of security matters, and devising strategies to efficiently and effectively maintain compliance with relevant DoD policies and requirements.

•Lead the on-site physical / personnel security support to the Leidos program team.
•Oversee security support staff.
•Devise strategies to efficiently and effectively maintain compliance with relevant DoD policies and requirements.
•Implement and provide guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, classified document control, security investigations, classification control and
personnel clearances.
•Process new clearance requests – collect, review, submit, track paperwork.
•Process clearance reinvestigations – collect, review, submit, track paperwork.
•Submit customer site badge / visit requests.
•Conduct security briefings – new staff, upgraded clearances.

•Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of related experience, training, and/or certifications accepted in lieu of a degree.
•Specific physical security experience in a DoD / military environment.
•Currently possess a DoD Secret security clearance.

•Knowledge of AFNCR physical security requirements.
•Experience providing physical security support at the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), and/or Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB).
•Relevant security certifications.
•TS/SCI security clearance.
