The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior TPS Engineer in our Huntsville, Alabama facility in support of the ATE Support Program.
As a Test Program Set (TPS) Engineer you will perform as part of an engineering team that plans and (using applied knowledge) directs the cradle to grave functions associated with the complex engineering studies, analyses, and evaluation in the areas of tested equipment pertaining to missile defense weapons systems. The TPS Engineer is responsible for the design, review, analyses, communication, technical documentation, and integration of test programs (both hardware and software) using the General Purpose Electronic Test System ATE (GETS-1000 Automatic Test Equipment). This includes conducting tests in accordance with environmental and quality guidelines according to the test plan, providing technical and subject matter expertise (SME) pertaining to the test requirements, developing the test software and hardware requirements utilizing test knowledge to perform liaison functions with the unit to ensure the interface design under test will integrate with the GETS-1000 ATE.. Creating engineering change proposals (ECPs) when improved performance between the unit and the GETS-1000 is attainable, providing status for supported programs, and maintaining ISO-9001 compliance. Work directly with program management and the customer.
- Bachelors Degree and 12 or more years of Test Program Experience.
- Direct knowledge of the GETS-1000 ATE system.
- Extensive experience with "C" programming utilizing National Instruments LabWindows/CVI.
- Expert Knowledge of the GETS-1000 ATE System.
