The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Messaging Systems Administrator-Skype to join the JSP Platform Services Group located in the NCR- Pentagon, or the Mark Center in Arlington, VA.

JOB SUMMARY
The Messaging System Administrator –Skype is responsible for managing and maintaining Skype for Business (SfB) server infrastructure, including integrations and/or configurations of the following: Audio/Video/Web Conferencing; Session Border Controllers/Gateways, SIP Trunk Configuration; High Availability and Disaster Recovery; Federation; Persistent Chat; Office Web Apps; Firewall Rules; and Monitoring/Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in patching the SfB server environment to include cumulative updates for the Skype for Business application itself. Additionally, the Messaging System Administrator-Skype will be responsible for the following:
•Maintaining a Microsoft Exchange environment
•Diagnosing incidents, problems and change implementation, to include the writing of Change Requests and seeking the required approvals
•Troubleshooting and resolving unique or complex problems in an efficient manner
•Preparing documentation that explains the technical solution clearly
•Interfacing directly with the client and parallel teams when necessary 
•Identifying and resolving problems affecting messaging systems performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner
•Operational support, including application maintenance, application configuration and performance tuning
•Application of DISA STIGs and resolution of security vulnerabilities
•Supporting operational transition of enterprise solutions into production

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Experience in lieu of degree may be option

•Demonstrated understanding of technology areas such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS and the ability to maintain other Windows core services
•Demonstrated understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP and NTLM and experience with the use of necessary tools to troubleshoot them
•Hands-on experience implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Active Directory
•Strong knowledge of PowerShell and .NET scripting
•Demonstrated expert knowledge of networking concepts and technologies
•Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Exchange in an enterprise environment
•Solid understanding of Windows Server 2012/2016, VMware, DHCP, DNS, Outlook, and OWA
•Solid knowledge of enterprise messaging environments including but not limited to Active Directory
•Ability to demonstrate an analytical approach to solve complex problems in complex, large-scale, and multi-datacenter environments
•Active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance
•This position requires an active DoD 8140 cyber certification at IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP) or better; candidates without a valid cyber certification will not be considered
