The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Problem Management Administrator to join the JSP Platform Services Group located in the NCR- Pentagon, or the Mark Center in Arlington, VA.


JOB SUMMARY
The role of the Problem Management Administrator is to investigate the root cause of high severity incidents or repeating incidents, driving actions to ensure: a) the true root cause is identified and agreed to by all relevant stakeholders and b) timely implementation of the fixes to prevent root causes from reoccurring. Other responsibilities include continuous analysis of all incidents to identify trends, implementation of remediation plans aligned to business priorities to reduce repeat incidents, and improvement of overall business productivity. This successful candidate will support the Major Incident Management function, driving resolution of major incidents across multiple customers, supported by timely, targeted, and meaningful communications to the relevant stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Possession of an active DoD 8140 cyber certification at IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) or better; applicants without a valid DoD 8140 cyber certification will not be considered
•Provide on-site support to unclassified and classified environments
•Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to define, plan and implement long-term goals, tasks and projects 
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to senior leadership to include non-technical customer representatives 
•Hands-on experience in installing/configuring software and hardware
•Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging technologies and service management concepts and techniques
•Excellent problem solving, multitasking, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
•Excellent analytical skills, with a background in developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems
•Active Top Secret security clearance
•This position requires an active DoD 8140 cyber certification at IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) or better; applicants without a valid DoD 8140 cyber certification will not be considered


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Scripting skills: Ability to create scripts in PowerShell
•Experience configuring Linux guests in a VMware ESX environment
•Ability to develop a complete disaster recovery and system backup plan with the responsibility of producing and maintaining all system documentation
•DoD 8140 IAT Level II cyber certification (CASP + CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) desired
