The Civil Transportation Solutions Operation at Ledios has an opening for an energetic and detail oriented financial analyst to lead the FAA Navigations programs, GCCS and GEO-7, in Gaithersburg/Rockville. The Program Finance Analyst is responsible for planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on projects of various contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk.
In addition, this opportunity has significant interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Project Accounting, as well as other organizations and will work closely with the program manager to help define program goals; create and maintain a program's budget, schedule and prepare EAC. This role will also prepare and present financial forecasts, reports and help with new business proposals for the customer.
• Provide and explain various reports and conduct and explain accompanying analysis to the PM and Finance Manger on all elements including revenue, labor, material, overhead, facility costs, and time sold.
• Develop revenue and cost projections (working with PM team) for input into the operation's planning efforts (Annual Operating Plan, Monthly Outlook) as well as a robust list of opportunities and/or risks each month.
• Maintain program IMS, and prepare monthly CDRL (IPMR) for on-time customer delivery
• Ensure charge codes are established timely and that team has appropriate, including work authorization documents to charge their time.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2-4 years of experience as a financial analyst or a Master’s and 2 years’ experience as a financial analyst
• Strong MS Excel (e.g. Pivot tables) and Office skills (e.g. Power Point)
• Understanding and experience in EVMS and Project Planning
• Ability to secure a Public Trust Clearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Extremely high level of attention to detail
• Prior experience in government contracting
• Experience with Leidos finance and financial systems such as Cost Point
