Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a Field Operations Technician!

Provide IT Field Service integration support and consultation to assigned Members of the U. S. House of Representatives, including both the DC Office and District Office (remote) locations.  Manage his or her own schedule, serve as the POC for customer requests and customer relations for DC and District locations, and assume responsibility for customer retention.  Ensure adherence to enterprise policies and procedures for assigned Member offices, including network configuration, security, and other areas; and apply best practices through collaborative efforts as needed. 

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:

--Use NetIQ to manage users and computer objects in Active Directory, including password resets and account unlocks.  Ensure security policy adherence for accounts, such as for privileged account requests, authorized requestors, and inactive accounts for departed Government employees.

--Perform troubleshooting and coordinate with Government contacts for solutions to networking, remote access, and telecommunications issues. 

--Image, configure and install Windows and Apple computers; and perform troubleshooting and break/fix service, coordinating with third party contacts for warranty service when applicable.    

--Configure and deploy mobile device assets; and perform troubleshooting as needed, coordinating with both third party contacts and Government contacts for solutions. 

--Perform troubleshooting and coordinate with third party contacts for solutions to issues and request for printers, multi-function devices (print/copy/scan/fax), and other IT assets. 

--Provide software support, consultation, and coordinated solutions for Microsoft Office 365 applications, such as Outlook email and calendars, SharePoint, Teams, and mobile device enterprise applications. 

--Track IT asset inventory and advise customers on new software and hardware purchases.

--Coordinate with customers, other team members and other departments, and Government contacts, to complete additional assignments and projects as required by contract.

--Provide regular communication to customer POCs, management, and others, regarding general customer status, updates for outstanding issues, and progress on assignments and projects.

Basic Qualifications:

--Usually requires BS degree and 2 - 4 years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.

--Ability to work independently, stay organized, multi-task, and maintain good performance and a good attitude in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

-- Requires working knowledge of and ability to apply standards, concepts, and techniques in the following areas:  desktop computer imaging, end user support and hardware repair for Windows and Apple computers and laptops, activation and end user support for mobile devices, network printer support, and warranty coordination for HP and other makes of printers and multi-function devices.

--Physically capable of lifting boxes up to 40 pounds, walking many steps per day, other similar physical demands.

--No barrier to on-time arrival.

--Strong communication and customer service skills.

--Strong troubleshooting skills in the listed areas of knowledge.

--Ability to obtrain and/or maintain Public Trust security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

--A+ recent certification.

--Familiarity with Windows 10, recent Mac OS, Windows Active Directory, AirWatch MDM for phones and tablets, MS Office Pro and Office 365.
