Work with an integrated IT team supporting US DOE Office of Legacy Management IT projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Will leverage knowledge and experience to effectively contribute to long- and short-range systems planning and maintenance of SharePoint, COTS, and In-House built applications, all using SQL Server 2012/2016. 
• Support projects to upgrade, modify, or replace operational environmental data management, GIS, financial, federal records, communications, and business support systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Systems Integration.
• Candidates for this position typically have 0 to 5 years of experience. 
• Possesses knowledge of integrating web with SQL Server 2012/2016 technologies.
• Possesses SharePoint, ASP.NET, JQuery, Web Services (SOAP/REST), CSS, HTML, and SQL experience.
• Possesses strong understanding of relational databases and complex queries
• Possesses a working knowledge of SDLC, configuration management, IT
• Governance, and risk management frameworks and associated tools.
• Possesses demonstrated experience with performing software development, systems integration and enhancements, unit and user testing, and systems maintenance efforts
• Possess strong abilities to develop technical requirements, produce software documentation, and devise thorough test procedures.
• Possesses strong ability to effectively collaborate and contribute to a cross-functional team with other software engineers, data managers, network & system administrators, and other technical & non-technical staff to develop requirements, design, develop, test and deploy COTS and custom technology solutions.
• Must be able to work together and communicate maturely and professionally with co-workers and federal customers.
• Must be willing to travel to alternate sites to support systems operations, integration, and deployment. (<25% travel)
• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
