The candidate will apply expertise and experience in the Special Technical Operations (STO) field to support Combatant Command requirements. Additionally, the candidate will lead efforts in representing the 16AF/STO in joint and Combatant Command exercises support initiatives within the community. The candidate will develop tracking mechanisms to include but not limited to requirements tracking, exercise planning, new capabilities concepts and existing and newly developed tools. The candidate will also assist in the planning of new collection, reporting, and dissemination of current and new capabilities for the warfighter. The candidate will also need to coordinate and collaborate collectively within the 16AF NAF directorates on special projects and existing/new initiatives. The candidate must be able to provide a high level of speaking and communication skills to be able to brief General Officers on current world-wide operations. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for supervising a matrixed team within the 16AF to organize, plan, develop and execute solutions to address client needs and solve complex mission challenges. The Supervisor will set goals, measure progress and ensure development and growth of the team. Finally, the supervisor will be accountable to the 16AF Mission Lead for all monthly deliverables.
Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years or AA Degree and 12+ years of related experience.
Provides subject matter expertise on Intelligence/Space planning in the 16AF Joint Special Technical Operations Cell (STO).
Responsible for presenting 16AF ISR capabilities to Combatant Commands
Supports and provides technical expertise to US Central Command, US Indo-Pacific Command, US European Command, US Strategic Command, US Southern Command, US Space Command, Air Combat Command, and 16th Air Force.
Extensive knowledge of the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), as well as Policy, Procedures, and Approval authorities of SIGINT systems
Vast knowledge of joint capabilities within the Special Technical Operations portfolio’s and special access programs
Experience in authoring, refining, and disseminating CONOP’s, EXORD’s, and Deployment Orders for Combatant Command exercises and real-world missions
Key member of task force that provides intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance information to support national level Air Force Requirements.
