The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Sr. System Administrator (Day Shift) to join the JSP Platform Services Group located in the NCR- Pentagon, or the Mark Center in Arlington, VA.

JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. System Administrator (Day Shift) is responsible for the management and maintenance of currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments, providing technical oversight and consultation services. The successful candidate must be able to:
•Perform hardware and software technology refreshes, ensuring milestone compliance while coordinating with application owners to minimize disruptions
•Demonstrate day-to-day adherence with change management precepts and practices
•Write Change Requests and seek approval for them
•Troubleshoot and resolve unique or complex problems in an efficient manner
•Prepare clear and timely technical documentation that explains recommended/required actions
•Interface directly with the client and parallel teams, as necessary 
•Apply DISA STIGs and resolve security vulnerabilities
•Support operational transition of enterprise solutions into production

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. More work experience in lieu of degree may be optional
•Demonstrated understanding of technology areas including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, DFS and the ability to maintain other Windows core services
•Demonstrated understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos, LDAP, NTLM and experience using the necessary tools to troubleshoot them
•Hands-on experience implementing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Active Directory
•Strong knowledge of PowerShell and .NET scripting
•Expert knowledge of networking concepts and technologies
•Demonstrated analytical approach to solve complex problems in a complex, large-scale, and multi datacenter environments 
•This position requires an active DoD 8140 cyber certification at IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP); candidates without an active cyber certification will not be considered
•This position requires an active DOD Top Secret clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•DoD 8140 IAT Level III cyber certification (CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH) is desirable
