Job Description:
The Leidos Civil Group is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC III) team. The position will provide technical support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Fuel Storage Tank (FST) National Program Office in areas of storage tank regulatory compliance and operations at the headquarters office in Washington, DC.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring fuel storage compliance by completing various functions including analysis, evaluation and design.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in related field and 0-2 years relevant experience
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS Power Point.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous work experience for/with the FAA is highly preferred.
- Prior work experience with US government mangers, employees and programs
