Due to Business growth we are looking for a Subcontract manager to join our team.
The Subcontract Manger is responsible for the negotiation, award, administration, compliance and risk management of subcontracts across the UK divisions of Civil, Defence and Logistics supporting new bids and proposals as well as managing existing subcontracts.
- Subcontractor contract negotiation, administration and close out
- Subcontract agreement with appropriate terms and conditions
- Subcontractor development, sourcing and diversity
- Subcontractor cost management
- Subcontractor relationship management
- Subcontractor contract regulatory compliance
- Subcontractor international and export compliance
- Subcontractor contract risk management.
The Subcontract Manager will ideally be CIPS qualified or studying towards CIPS or equivalent qualification. They will have strong understanding of subcontracting and experience with complex subcontract awards and management.
Reporting to the Head of Subcontracts within the Commercial team, the candidate will be able to work independently, being responsible for their assigned work, and as part of functional and programme teams, they will have significant impact on assigned bids and programmes.
