Job Description:

Leidos currently has an opening for a Mission Management Support Specialist at Offutt AFB, NE. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered.

Primary Responsibilities/ Specialized Tasks:

         a. Mission Management:

  • Loads mission files and tasking to repositories that the crew can access from the RC-135 V/W
  • Coordinates mission changes and tasking updates with the appropriate AOC’s and 55 ISS/ROC
  • Updates squadron products that external players use to know flying schedule (NTI and other agencies that support RC-135 V/W missions) 
  • Helps with mission reconstruction for debrief and captures lessons learned from missions and deployments
  • Conducts site surveys to ensure support is in place if RC-135 V/W is deploying to a new location
  • Updates CML and other documents that impact which squadron members deploying in support of different mission sets
  • Ensures post mission reporting is getting to the right organizations/databases
  • Works with collection managers to educate them on what mission sets RC-135 V/W can and cannot support

        b. Database Access and Training

  • Manages database entitlements for members across all 97 IS mission correlation tables as Access Sponsor Staff
  • Trains mission members and mission staff on all oversight and compliance training associated with database entitlements
  • Grants/renews PKI certificates as a PKI Trusted Agent

    Position requires an additional supervisory role, which includes but is not limited to, provide oversight and guidance to the Leidos team supporting the unit, write performance reviews, route documentation as appropriate, and approve time cards and expense reports.

                        -Uses basic office resources, such as computers, e-mail, web browsers, word processors, and presentation graphics (including Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

             d. Organizational Skills:

                       -Able to organize work materials in a logical manner that supports continuity of operations

             e. Working with Others:

                      -Adapts interpersonal style or behavior to accommodate or effectively deal with different approaches, perspectives, or personalities

                      -Supports the working relationships and networks with customers, professional colleagues internal and external to the 97 IS, foreign partners, or representatives of other agencies

                      -Assists coworkers when needed and works as part of a team

            f. Writing/Editing and Reviewing:

                     -Writes routine documents (for example, e-mails, memoranda, minutes of meetings, status reports, and production reports)

  • Current TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree) and 3-10 years of experience.
  • Work Schedule:  Must be willing to work day (0800-1600), swing (1600-0000), or mids (0000-0800) shift as needed.
  • Specialized Knowledge and Skills include:

                        a. Mission Planning, Tasking, PED:

                              -Knowledge of AOC operations and aircraft tasking documents (RSTA, ATO, SPINS, etc.)

                              -Able to use, update, edit 97th IS sharepoint site and ABNEMAT

                              -Understanding of RC-135 V/W operations to include front end and back end capabilities and limitations

                              -Understanding of RC-135 V/W mission specific reporting (KL, TACREP, TIPPERS, PREMS)

                              -Familiarity with RC-135 V/W historical deployments and support needed to execute those deployments Agency

                        b. Training and Tools:

                             -Able to provide effective OJT for squadron members on a variety of IC-sponsored tools

                        c. Oversight and Compliance:

                            -Actively complies with legal and regulatory policies and procedures required for the selector targeting, collection, processing, retention, and dissemination of SIGINT

                            -Trains members and mission staff on all oversight and compliance guidance associated with analysis and exploitation
