Leidos is currently seeking a Business Development / Marketing Intern in Beavercreek, Ohio.
We are looking for an intern who has interest in a career in Marketing or Business Development. The program is designed to prepare high potential interns for future positions in Leidos BD by exposing them to a variety of challenging work assignments and having them assist with building the Leidos brand and business in the broader Dayton customer community.
The BD intern will support the local Leidos leadership team in a variety of community outreach and communications activities to build business and support recruiting in the Dayton area. The intern will also assist the team in developing business with local customers. Additionally, the intern will support internal communications with Leidos employees in the area. The candidate will have a high-energy level, strong enthusiasm, passion for innovative thinking, a competitive edge, and strong communication skills.
-Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related degree, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA
-Completed at least 2 years toward their degree and have demonstrated a record of high performance and a willingness to learn and grow
-Academic excellence and demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
-Energy, enthusiasm and competitive edge, and flexible
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to Work in a team environment and work under pressure
-U.S. Citizenship is required
-Knowledge and experience in the US Government's procurement process
-Major in Business, Marketing or related discipline
-Knowledge of Government Contractor’s proposal process and development
