The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) on our Leidos-led program in Annapolis Junction, MD. Come work in our state of the art Leidos facility!

As an Oracle DBA you will have the opportunity to participate on a high-visibility DoD/Intel program that provides software design, development, and component testing to an important customer in the cyber arena.  More specifically, it has been the development contract for a major systems acquisition program within the one of the DoD's premier Cyberwarfare organizations to modernize the infrastructure used for managing its mission. This group of elite Cyber professionals is now focused on developing the next generation of cutting-edge Computer Network Operations (CNO) mission management capabilities.

The database administrator will be responsible for sustainment and development of database systems.

Activities will include:

  • Import/export of data
  • DB backups and recovery
  • Creation of oracle objects (tables, indexes, table spaces, users, etc.)
  • PL/SQL
  • Performance tuning
  • Storage administration
  •  Installing and upgrading oracle software
  • User administration
  • Interacting with the developers to resolve problems

Qualifications:

Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience administering oracle databases in large distributed environments
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience supporting and administering databases with billions of rows of data
Oracle Administrator certification - or ability to obtain

Desired professional experience
Experience administering oracle databases utilizing clustering and/or replication/streaming
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Experience working in an agile environment
Oracle RAC/Data Guard
Oracle EM Cloud Control
Familiarity with non-SQL databases (e.g.: Mongo)
