Job Description:

The Government health and Safety Solutions Group is currently seeking a systems administrator to support a large contract in Baltimore.

The candidate will be responsible for the following: Develop, analyze, review and rewrite programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt programs to new requirements. Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Develop and implement software system testing procedures, programming and documentation and coordinate integration testing using J2EE Server, Tomcat, Apache, Java, Oracle, Spring, JavaScript, Maven, Apache Ant, SVN, CVS, and SSL on Linux, Unix and Windows NT platforms. Train users to use computer programs. Assist the construction and maintenance of an organization's computer systems. Convert project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language. In addition, the candidate should have hands on skills with installation and configuration of the following proxy/web/application servers: Apache, IIS Web Server, ISA, TMG/Forefront, IBM Http Server, Squid, F5 Big-IP, Blue Coat, Cisco Cache Engine, WildFly, JBoss, Web Sphere and Netcache. Engineer will have to be familiar with industry standards for software implementation process and operation process. Experience with installation of COTs products. Familiarity with integrating and use of open-source software and developing SOAP web services.

Basic Qualifications: Hands on skills with installation and configuration of the following reverse proxy servers will be required: Apache, IIS Web Server, ISA Server proxy, TMG, Squid, Forefront, F5 Big-IP, Blue Coat, Cisco Cache Engine, and Netcache. Development skills on

JAVA/J2EE Technologies, HTML, CSS, JSP, Spring Framework, Struts, Tiles Framework, Tomcat Application Server, Eclipse, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Oracle, JavaScript, Apache Ant, CVS, and SSL certificates. Engineer will have to be familiar with industry standards for software implementation process and operation process. Experience with installation of COTs products. Familiarity with integrating and use of open-source software and developing SOAP web services.

BS degree and 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Desired skills: WSAD, XML, Web Services, Apache Axis, Web application integration with Web Services, and Web application design. Candidate should be familiar with single sign on technologies as well as Ancible continuous integration technologies.
