Job Description:
Leidos is looking for a Software Developer for a position in the Northern Virginia area. This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be considered. The Software Developer will serve as a member of the applications development team supporting a critical program developing and maintaining leading-edge technologies. The Software Developer will work within agile teams, and use Java to design, develop, test, and maintain software and hardware.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include all aspects of the software engineer to include development life cycle – from requirements to delivering the end product. The candidate should be able to meet with Customers to gather technical requirements and support the development efforts for the project using Java. The candidate will need to create custom codes to extract data across domains. In addition the candidate will work in an agile environment and support all aspects of software development in that environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Requires Bachelors degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters and 1 year of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with Ruby on Rails
- Must have a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered
- Demonstrated experience or training with Java and Javascript
- Demonstrated experience or training with Agile Methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience or training with Python
- Demonstrated experience or training with MySQL
- Experience or training with AWS
- Experience or training with DevOps
