The Defense Group’s Airborne Solutions Operation has an opening for a Senior Program Finance Analyst to support multiple programs. The Program Finance Analyst will work closely with each program manager and control account manager to manage all business aspects of the ARL-E program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program life-cycle activities such as project setup/ maintenance, invoicing support, accruals, financial projections, and month end close.
Developing program budgets, establishing control accounts and work packages, updating and preparing IPMR deliverables (Format 1 – 5), and helping CAMs with variance analysis.
Development of program annual operating plans (AOP) and Quarterly Forecasts.
Development and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EAC)s
Managing subcontractor hours and costs and assessing funding needs and preparing periodic accruals
Implementation of financial policies and procedures in support of projects.
Significant interaction with the Finance, Program Manager, CAMs, and may involve interaction with Ops/Line Management, Finance personnel, Contracts personnel, Procurement, senior technical personnel, and various other functional or support organizations.
Supports the preparation of written, verbal, and quantitative reports for customer deliverables providing thorough walk through of invoices, deliverable content, issue identification/resolution, etc

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Familiarity and competent in using scheduling and EVMS tools (i.e., MSProject, Deltek Cobra).
Proficiency in MS Excel or other similar desktop tools that provide capabilities to collect and analyze information.
Strong analytical, communication, and presentations skills, and the ability to operate independently.
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint and some program finance experience with multiple contract types.
