Leidos is seeking an experienced Counterintelligence Analyst with a current TOP SECRET // SCI clearance to support the FAA Defensive Counterintelligence Program. This position will be located in the Washington DC area, with possible travel to other locations in the National Capital Region (NCR). Additionally, this position may require up to 25% travel outside of the NCR.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Gather and share information from the counterintelligence community regarding the structure, capabilities, and threats from foreign intelligence, security services, and non-state actors against aviation and its associated industries as well as the cyber threat related to critical infrastructure.
Conduct counterintelligence analysis; prepare and present analysis in the form of briefings and/or reports to government client. Deliver products that are timely, actionable, and are conductive to the protection of information.
Provide senior leadership and decision makers with counterintelligence threat updates, threat capabilities, intentions overview, and/ or CI incident summaries.
Perform inquiries/investigate anomalies that may have a CI nexus; collaborate with security, investigative, and intelligence entities, as appropriate.
Produce Intelligence Information Reports (IIR), written referral reports and/or investigative leads that document issues of computer misuse, various violations of policies, security vulnerabilities (gaps), and information of potential counterintelligence concern.
Provide analytic case support to investigations, administrative or security inquiries, counterintelligence risk assessments, or other adjudicative assessments and 811 counterespionage referrals to external Federal Law Enforcement agencies. Document all referral activities in written products and reports.
Respond to requests for information in support of other offices with security functions within the FAA.
Coordinate Cl reporting, education, and defensive briefings; establishes requirements for FAA personnel traveling to designated foreign countries.
Maintain extensive liaison relationships with relevant Cl entities throughout the intelligence community. Represent FAA at relevant internal and interagency conferences, meetings, committees, and counterintelligence forums.
BS and 8 years or 12 years of experience. Minimum 5 years demonstrated counterintelligence experience.
Must present professional appearance, demeanor, acumen, respectfulness, and the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Certificate of completion in one of the following certified Department of Defense courses: Counterintelligence Agent, Intelligence Analysis, or Human Intelligence.
Knowledge of foreign intelligence service or non-sate actor capabilities and tradecraft, specifically with respect to critical infrastructure and its associated industries.
Knowledge of counterintelligence matters as it pertains to cybersecurity and related information technology vulnerabilities.
Must have experience with IC agencies and organizations' missions, intelligence products and database systems.
Must be proficient in properly marking classified documents, adhering to disparate classifications of data, and handling of classified information across domains.
Must have knowledge of IC agencies and organizations' missions, intelligence products, and database systems.
Demonstrated ability to perform pattern, trend, and link analysis based on analysis of intelligence reporting, message traffic, other data sources, and collaboration with other intelligence analysts, intelligence collectors, and investigators.
Skill in communicating orally and in writing at various levels within and external to an organization to include preparing written analysis of data and orally presenting information to a diverse audience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
