Job Description:

The Government Health and Safety Solutions Operation is seeking a Jr. Endevor Administrator. The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.

Position Description:

Leidos has an immediate need for a Jr. Endevor Administrator to support the development and validation environments hosting internal agency applications.   Leidos provides support for infrastructure tasks and initiatives for Web Support and Application Support activities. This includes Infrastructure, System Administration, and Application troubleshooting roles supporting a wide range of technologies in development and validation environments that continue to grow and evolve rapidly with new products and techniques introduced regularly and changing priorities.


The candidate will assist SSA with administering Endevor application to support the version control of applications in the development and validation environments.  The candidate will create, maintain, and delete subsystems, troubleshoot user issues with the Endevor product, analyze new versions for upgrade compatibility, maintain types and libraries, utilize z/OS utilities, and collaborate with application projects and other administrators.

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of related work experience.

Skills Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Basic experience with the IBM z/OS utilities; ISPF, SDSF, JCL, VSAM and the ability to learn the administration of Endevor.
  • Basic experience coding and supporting applications written in any computer language and the ability to learn mainframe-computing languages.
  • Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting with developers/users.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with customers, team members and management.

    Desired Skills:

  • Administration of Endevor including creating new systems, subsystems, types, Elibs, DDIO libraries, Endevor related Top Secret profiles.
  • MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of SAS, REXX, CLIST, COBOL; CICS; batch processing; mainframe debugging tools like CA/Broadcom’s INTERTEST; Compuware’s XPEDITER, ABEND-AID.
