Airborne Solutions within the Defense Group has a dynamic job opportunity for a Logistics Database Administrator supporting the ARL-E program located in Manassas, VA. ARL-E is a multi-year program supporting the U.S. Army. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, integration, documentation, and testing of multiple hardware and software components and subsystems for an Airborne ISR system. As the Logistics Database Administrator, you will be a member of the Product Support Team responsible for utilizing, facilitating, and improving the web-based Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) logistics/asset/maintenance data system used to manage, track, and deliver Program and Government requirements as part of the overall logistics and maintenance sustainment effort. You will assist in the management and maintenance of the ARL-E program’s EAM system and shall support a work flow-driven asset management process. You will work across functional teams such as Government stakeholders, external organizations, and internal teams.
-Assist in coordination, development, management, and sustainment of web-based logistics and maintenance databases to accurately track and report logistics, maintenance, and historical information using the EAM system to meet Program directives and Customer requirements
-Assist in the development of Workflow related processes supporting aviation logistics/maintenance management and documentation
-Administer logistics and maintenance management databases and user accounts
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
-A DoD clearance is NOT required to start, however, a final Top Secret/SCI is required
-Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
-Experience with web-based databases managing the input, receipt, storage, issuance, and disposal of assets within the database and in compliance with guidelines, policies, and procedures
-Possess strong problem solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
-Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner utilizing strong team orientated organizational and work management skills
-Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook)
-10% CONUS Travel required
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-Civilian and/or military experience with web-based aviation logistic/maintenance management databases
-Experience with managing and/or modifying SQL databases
-Current aviation Logistics/Supply Chain experience handling government aviation/aircraft property
-Knowledge and experience with the handling, storage, and security requirements of sensitive equipment and aircraft parts
