Leidos has a career opening for an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Infrastructure and Tools Lead located in Reston, VA.

Position Summary:
The position is one of a three on the planning, proposal and infrastructure group of the lean Corporate EVM Center of Excellence (COE) team leading and executing the core responsibilities of EVMS planning, infrastructure and tools, implementations, training and surveillance for Leidos.  The position is responsible for all planning, directing, designing and executing the EVMS tools infrastructure while simultaneously executing the functions of the EVMS Tools Service Center and leading the interface with the Leidos IT team responsible for maintaining that infrastructure.  The ideal candidate is recognized as a technical and tools infrastructure leader who has expertise in a broad range of functional areas and disciplines; including program management, EVMS implementations and compliance, scheduling, financial disciplines (pricing, program finance, FP&A, etc.), contract management, and strong understanding of inter-company functional relationships.  The EVMS Infrastructure and Tools Lead will frequently collaborate with Leidos CIO and IT Leadership and colleagues in different departments (IT Business Services Systems, Business Optimization Systems & Solutions, Finance Systems, etc). The individual must be able to support the maintenance, communication, and testing of EVMS tools in cooperation with the IT team. As the EVMS Infrastructure and Tools Lead and creative thinker and technical solution advisor, this individual will work closely not just with Leidos inner IT departments but will be expected to collaborate with leading EVMS Industry tool development leaders to develop strategies which will help the Leidos EVM organization better support the needs of the program and overall corporate strategy. There is the potential of supporting this position out of another location.  Must be able to travel when required 25% - 50% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and provide hands-on technical direction, solutioning and support of the EVMS infrastructure and tools solutions in alignment with our EVMS business strategy, which include the following:
o   Design and execute long and mid-term strategic EVMS infrastructure and tools roadmap
o   Work with other stakeholders of the roadmap to align and coordinate priorities to generate a detailed execution plan to achieve the roadmap
o   Utilizes expert domain knowledge to create new and innovative solutions to better integrate the tools and data flow across the entire EVMS practice and tools suite (e.g. leverage the internal BOT initiative, incorporate best of breed homegrown tools on programs, learn and use what other companies have created)
o   Incorporate feedback from those on the EVM COE and end users to improve infrastructure tools solutions and user adoption
o   Champion the never-ending need for better automation and integration of our EVMS infrastructure and tools solutions
o   Interact regularly with functional leadership, senior and line executive leadership (internally or client), and technical personnel on topics related to EVMS infrastructure and tools
o   Provide technical input and recommendations to support the negotiation with vendors and contractors for infrastructure-specific projects and services. Work with vendors and Leidos IT to determine the right time for software upgrades; communicate upgrade schedules to users

Lead and provide hands-on technical support of the EVMS Tools Service Center, which include the following:
o   Ensure the tools are operational for program use
o   Provide authorized users access to the tools and deactivate accounts of unauthorized users
o   Support the help desk for overflow items on existing programs
o   Identify defects and needed enhancements and work with the vendor(s) to solve them
o   Track defects, enhancements, and other issues and work with stakeholders (e.g., Leidos IT, vendors, program users) to solve them
o   Lead and conduct the testing on software upgrades and resolve issues prior to upgrading the software in the Production environment
o   Implement solutions to maintain and integrate the toolsets to improve the end user experience
o   Maintain and provide user reference material for accessing and using the tools

Basic Qualifications
·   Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or similar technical degree, or equivalent experience and 10+ years prior relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 7+ years prior relevant experience.
·   It is recognized that candidates may not have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in the identified or similar technical areas. In these cases, the candidates must have extensive technical, systems architecture and tools knowledge to equate to this desired depth of knowledge and ability to execute the responsibilities of this position.
·   Intermediate knowledge of EVMS infrastructure topics, architecture and tools, such as Deltek Cobra, Deltek PM Compass, Deltek wInsight, Deltek Open Plan, Deltek Acumen Fuse, Deltek CostPoint, and other Scheduling and EVMS tools.
·   Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
