Job Description:

Immediate need for Software Developers with DoD Top Secret clearance.  If you are ready to move beyond your current position, we offer sign-on and relocation assistance for those that want to build a career with our growing and dynamic team.  Your desire to expand your experience will be met with a position that will elevate skills and experiences to support software solutions and services.

In this role you will design, develop and maintain software for a variety of engineering applications for platforms essential in maintaining readiness for today’s modern platform sensor systems. Work with analysts to understand the analytic or interface requirements as well as develop tools and interfaces. Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications. Set operational specifications and formulate & analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software. Key tasks include sprint development and execution support; SW development (code/unit test); as well as unit integration and test.

This position will be located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  Only 40 miles northeast of Washington DC, Aberdeen is a city built by the American military and America's game, baseball. The city has been home to the Proving Ground of the US Army since 1917 and is known as "The Army's Home of Technology," producing many technical achievements in the fields of military intelligence, engineering and computer technology.  Aberdeen is also the birthplace of the legendary Ripken family, proudly immortalized with a minor league stadium, museum and baseball camps.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant engineering discipline; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. 
  • 2-4 years of functional software experience with C/C#/C++ and/or Java; Linux OS; additional relevant training and advanced degree can be substituted for years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle of the software in military systems.
  • ADA code base development/understanding a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with CECOM Software Engineering Center Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) & Post Production Software Support (PPSS) processes a plus.
