Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a hard working, dedicated individual for projects that will include international travel as well as local work. Ideal candidates are Punctual, Professional, Reliable, and hard working. Individuals will be expected to show up for work and be productive in the time spent on the job. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and reliable. Expect to work up to 6 days a week and 10 hours a day for extended periods. Federal holidays are observed. Active Secret security clearance is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Ensure contractual requirements are met.

-Assist OSIC with managing installation milestones.

-Properly convey scheduling, potential conflict, needs and job progress to customer.

-Work with OSIC to manage prime-contractor requirements, schedule and to de-conflict any potential issues.

-Help OSIC with ship's force interaction and scheduling of required ship’s force actions.

-Maintain proper documentation in all aspects of the job.

-Ensure customer, project team, ship's force and team meets prime contractor requirements and regulations. 

-Ensure customer interaction with install team remains within contractual and NAVSEA Standard Item guidelines.

-Interact on a regular basis with the customer, and speak knowledgeably and reliably in order to field customer questions and concerns, in order to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.

-Understand and adhere to TUMS and ILC tag-out/lock-out program requirements.

-Take responsibility for safety of personnel, ship's force, and equipment.

-Be proficient in the use of ESOMS. 

-Maintain and track documentation of electrical safety.

-Work with WAF coordinator to accomplish tasking.

-Maintain proper documentation and tracking of QA manual. 

-Schedule, coordinate, and participate in and document V-Level, I-Level and G-Level inspections.

-Assist on-site QA Inspector in performing and documenting daily duties.

-Interface with on-site QA Inspector about on-board, in-process discrepancies and ensure they are corrected.

Basic Qualifications:

-Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.

-Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs.

-Must be able to ascend and descend ladders on board a ship.

-Must be able to operate and own basic hand tools to be used on ship. 

-Must be able to work from ladders and reach into the overhead to perform cable installation and removal as well as banding. 

-Must be able to wear proper PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, steel toes at all times).

-Must be able to work required overtime to include weekends at times. 

-Must be able to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other individuals on the task. 

-Must comply with all local and specific shipyard safety and general rules. 

-Must have a valid drivers license and a reliable way to get to work on time everyday as required.

-Must have a valid Secret Clearance to be considered.

-Fiber Optic certified.

-Connector Qualified.

-Manage teams as well as be self-efficient in their daily actions.

-Compose Daily Status Reports to Program Manager.
