The Defense Group at Leidos is currently seeking a Network Engineer to join their team in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

JOB SUMMARY
Performs network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks; Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment; Analyzes network characteristics (e.g. understanding routers and switches, installing and maintaining security patches on servers, CISCO ISE. Experience with in-depth protocol analysis with tcpdump. And F5 load balancers, and Palo Alto Firewalls. 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
•Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience; additional experience in lieu of degree.
•Certification in routing such as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
•Shall have "Security+" related certification. 
•CWIP Yrs Experience: IAT 3+ Recommended CWIP Level: IAT 2. 
•Excellent Communication skills and strong work ethic. 
•Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance
