Job Description:
Leidos is seeking F-15 Integrated Aircraft Avionics Systems Engineering Assistants with knowledge of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) F-15 avionics system. The F-15 Integrated Aircraft Avionics Systems Engineering Assistants will be part of the Contractor Engineering and Technical Support team in support of a U.S. Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a one-year assignment with option to renew. Assignment location may be one of seven locations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per the Performance Work Statement.
The F-15 Integrated Aircraft Avionics Systems Engineering Assistants shall perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical technical knowledge to include, but not limited to, the following:
- Organization & Intermediate level inspections and servicing for avionics/instruments system.
- Troubleshooting of discrepancies and avionics/instruments.
- Training of RSAF personal.
- Tracking and maintaining F-15 avionics/instruments system anomalies on GOLDesp.
- Remove, repair and replace system components.
- Review and evaluate QC Reports and take corrective actions.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS and ten (10) years of directly related experience OR fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certification(s).
- Avionics reliability analyses procedures and techniques.
- Functions of airborne avionics equipment.
- Functions of main and embedded computers and data transfer associated avionics systems.
- F-15 integrated avionics systems; fire control, radar, PMEL,
- Communications, and electronic warfare.
- Providing technical advice to RSAF regarding avionics maintenance discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be able to demonstrate past examples of cultural adaptability and ability to establish a trusted professional relationship with an international customer.
- Arabic language proficiency.
