LEIDOS Military and Veterans Health Solutions Group anticipates several openings for Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC) .
These positions are contingent upon contract award and will be located CONUS & OCONUS.
The primary responsibility of the this position is providing a full breadth of MFLC counseling services to military service members (Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve components) and their families at military installations worldwide. The services include non-medical, short term, walk-around counseling, training and health and wellness presentations, provision of health fairs, and consultation to installation command regarding behavioral health issues. MFLC counselors work in close coordination with the military branch points of contact to assure that the program is provided within the authorized scope and meets the specific needs of the installation.
- A Master’s degree in the Behavioral Health Professions ( MS/MSW/MA)
- Minimum 2 years of post-master’s supervised clinical experience
- *Licensure at the independent practice level (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LMHC)
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Prior military service/military family member and/or strong familiarity with the military culture
*Additionally: Consideration will be given to applicants meeting the education and experience requirements above who are license eligible and requiring clinical supervision toward licensure.
