The GSG currently has an opening for an Operations Coordinator on a large language services program. The successful candidate will manage a cadre of geographically dispersed employees across multiple countries and languages.
Responsible for tracking, proctoring and supporting program testing of language services candidates. Assist with various aspects of ongoing program staffing efforts for various program requirements. Provide back-up support for all planning and coordination of deployment scheduling and travel reimbursement processing. Requires direct customer coordination relating to a cadre of geographically dispersed employees with minimal guidance from PM/DPM.
Responsible for guiding and managing all employees through travel, general support, and mission execution.
Must provide leadership and direction to employees. Ability to interact effectively in a multicultural environment.
Operations Coordinator will also be working with the PM/DPM to collect, analyze and maintain financial data. This requires the ability to apply basic financial concepts to analyze problems of limited complexity.
The Operations Coordinator will also be responsible for document and records management, deployment close-out actions (i.e. managing/monitoring expense reports), closing International Travel Requests, hands-on validation of Leidos and customer requirements, and expiration forecast planning of deploying personnel. Supporting day-to-day operational staffing needs.
Primary interface with the Leidos program manager, deputy program manager, and customer leadership. Work as a member of the program management team to select and recruit appropriate linguist team members. Coordinate all personnel training.
Security Clearance Requirements
- The Operations Coordinator position requires a current TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
- BA degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Knowledge of U.S. Government, military, cryptologic, and/or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work well in a multicultural environment
- Cultural knowledge and/or experience
- Working knowledge of a foreign language and international issues valued but not required
- Linguistic studies and proficiency in a foreign language are highly valued.
