Job Description:

The NISC III program at Leidos is seeking a Security Representative with expertise in Security for all international travel security requirements

In this role you will be the point of contact for international travel security requirements for an assigned domestic area of responsibility  

Under limited supervision, support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Investigations (AXI) Advanced Threat Analysis & Mitigation Division (AXI-300) in providing enhanced capabilities optimizing the International Travel Security Program (ITSP).  Specifically, the Contractor will provide the following:

identify, analyze and disseminate relevant information related to the security of FAA employees traveling internationally.

Maintain awareness of other departmental programs and identify tools and techniques to enhance FAA's International Travel Security program

Conduct research and analysis through the use of various analytic and research tools, including open-source information

Collaborate with other analytical counterparts across the U.S. community and apply knowledge of threat environments, open-source tools, and current threat technologies

Maintain situational awareness regarding general threats to FAA travelers (terrorism, political violence, crime, health, natural disaster, etc.)

Provide input to agency Orders, standard operating procedures, and guidance.

Develop, create and/or revise training aides for FAA International travelers.

Prepare and disseminate routine reports including statistics and notable activities of the program.

Create relevant methods to market the International Travel Security Program to FAA as a whole.

Review and evaluate relevant messages and input from sources (e.g. country clearance requests, eCC).

Enter relevant program information into ITSP databases.

Respond to queries from FAA personnel from a variety of sources (email, telephone, etc.)

Communicate with FAA travelers through a variety of methods reminding them of requirements, changes, alerts, advisories, etc.

Other relevant activities as needed in support of AXI mission areas (security, investigations, insider threat & defensive counterintelligence)

Bachelor’s degree required

Five years of experience applying knowledge of threat environments, open-source tools, and current threat technologies

Top Secret clearance required, with ability to obtain SCI access
