Job Description:

Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining computer and information security incident, damage and threat assessment programs.  This position will be located at Ft Meade, DISA headquarters.

You must hold an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance to qualify for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, coordinate, and apply Cyber Security Policy, Doctrine, Directives, and Regulations.
  • Perform quality assurance on cyber security documentation deliverables.
  • Provide risk assessments to customer and system Information System Security Manager.
  • Act as alternate Information System Security Officer.
  • Perform quality assurance review of Cross Domain Solution (CDS) test products and documentation.
  • Provide risk analysis, risk reports, and defend ratings at Community Technical Assessment Board.
  • Complete all Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, and Phase 4 A&A documentation required for CDS.
  • Complete the UCDSMO checklist for new technologies, as required.
  • Review and provide guidance on completed Site Based Security Assessment (SBSA) reports prior to deliver to the customer.
  • Coordinate efforts to mitigate security risks discovered during Lab Based Security Assessment (LBSA).
  • Create, review, and analyze documentation products intended for presentation to the Defense Security/Cybersecurity Authorization Working Group (DSAWG) and Cross Domain Technical Advisory Board (CDTAB)

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires BS degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
  • Experience with reviewing, analyzing, coordinating and applying Cyber Security Policy, Doctrine, Directives, and Regulations.
  • Experience performing quality assurance on cyber security documentation deliverables.
  • Experience providing risk assessments to customer and system Information System Security Manager.
  • Experience performing QA review of test products and documentation.
  • Experience with risk analysis and risk reporting.
  • Strong customer interface skills.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance.
  • Must possess an active Security+CE (or higher) certification.
  • Must have experience presenting for the DSAWG and CDTAB
