Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Capable of operating and maintaining telecommunications/voice systems; supports engineering
  • Balance workload across projects, O&M tasks, incident and work order tickets, service levels
  • Translate organization and end user requirements and implement solutions using existing telecommunications/voice/computer technology to meet their mission needs
  • Identify and report when systems are not capable of meeting those service levels, including recommendations to correct
  • Evaluate telecommunications/voice systems performance and improve capabilities as needed
  • Document plans, requests, activities and specifications and provide reports
  • Monitor and test systems and peripheral equipment and troubleshoot problems
  • Coordinate telecommunications/voice activities
  • Follows industry’s standards and best practices
  • Support and Maintain Appspace Application Server Infrastructure including Application and server updating, STIG application, snapshot application during maintenance, fix problems at server or Application level when they arise
  • Provide support to all Digital Signage Media Players USACE Wide through analysis, troubleshooting, assessing the customers need, and reaching out to vendor support when needed in order to provide customer base with best Digital Signage Experience
  • Support and maintain over 300 Video Teleconference Endpoints

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • 8570.01M – IAT Level II Certification (Security+CE or CCNA Security)


  • Knowledgeable in VTC operations
  • Works with Cisco VCS Expressway for VTC registration and dial plans
  • Able to troubleshoot video calls thru Cisco VCS Expressway
  • Understands and can work with Cisco Call Manager integration with Cisco VCS Expressway
  • Knows how to administer Cisco CMS on-prem
  • Can configure Cisco and Polycom video endpoints from initial configuration thru to production configuration
  • Knowledgeable in SIP and H.323 protocols
  • Must understand TLS encryption standards and processes
  • Must understand SSL certificate provisioning and usage
  • Must know how to manage and troubleshoot Cisco TMS

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD customers
  • Experience with classified and unclassified networks
  • Customer Service Focused - deliver sustained high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Analytical thinker, Metrics Driven
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively translate and communicate complex technical information and risks to all levels of internal and external organizations
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, excellent analytical ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)
