Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern located in our Manassas, VA.
Leidos is seeking an Electrical Engineering intern to be a member of the ARL-E airframe team with interest in aircraft and mission payload power distribution and data cable design and development. The position requires ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
The engineer will assist with avionics and mission payload power distribution design work related to aircraft and antenna/sensor modifications. Candidates should have a willingness to work in a shop environment to get hands on experience with cable installations and checkouts. Candidates will also be supporting drawing revisions to capture changes in final installation design. Ideal candidates will also have a background in AutoCAD Electrical software.
-Currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
-2-3 years of college in electrical engineering program.
-Electrical CAD software experience.
-The ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
-U.S. Citizenship is required.
-AutoCAD Electrical design experience
-Power budget analysis experience
