Job Description:
Leidos is hiring a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Analyst to support ONI, DoD, DoN, and the IC. The successful candidate will perform Defensive Cyber Operations Analysis activities, supporting ONI’s cyber security mission. This position is in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinate incident response in the instance of a cybersecurity incident or breach Identify and classify attacks, malware, spillage, and countermeasures
Research advanced persistent threats and emerging cyber threats
Create finished intelligence products, including briefings and situation reports
Perform Indications & Warnings analysis
Develop and implement computer network defense tactics
Support vulnerability management and assessment technologies, and cybersecurity tools
Conduct vulnerability assessments
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance
BS in a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of experience in related field in lieu of degree
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), Certified Network Defense Architect(CNDA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or Computer Security Incident Handler (CSIH) certification or willingness to achieve certification within 6 months of hire
4+ years of experience in computer network defense.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with HBSS, Vulnerability Management Software, SIEM and/or data aggregation tools
Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMWare and Amazon Web Services Experience with WireShark
