JOB DESCRIPTION: This sub family is responsible for governance, organizational development and execution of the functions associated with the proposal, administration, compliance and risk management of supplier contracts across the company. Typical duties include: supplier contract negotiation and administration; supplier development, sourcing, and supply-base diversity and cost management; supplier relationship management; supplier-contract regulatory compliance, DFAR Business System (Purchasing) compliance, and supplier-contract risk management. IMPACT: Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with limited impact beyond the scope of own work area/project team. Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, less complex projects or task-related activities. Work is closely supervised. COMPLEXITY: Identifies, defines and addresses problems which are not immediately evident but typically not complex. Problems are typically within a narrow scope and are solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis. COMMUNICATION: Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area. LEADERSHIP & TALENT MANAGEMENT: KNOWLEDGE: Requires limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Utilizes limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
