The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Space Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Integration Planner at Lackland AFB, TX. Candidates must already possess a current TS/SCI with polygraph in order to be considered.This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission.
To serve as a subject matter expert within 616th Operations Center/Strategy Division for converging integrated space and ISR capabilities planning and operations within 16 AF’s Information Warfare mission. Provide subject matter expertise to planning, integrating, executing, identifying measures of performance and effectiveness, and assessing current and future 16 AF IW systems and capabilities (Cyber, ISR, Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), and Information Operations (IO)) converged in support of orbital warfare (OW), space domain awareness (SDA), and space electronic warfare (SEW) missions. Assist in the development and implementation of space ISR strategies, solutions and outcomes that enable and improve OW, SDA, and SEW missions. Deliver optimized ISR collection and reporting of signals intelligence that support space operations and targeting of adversary space and counterspace capabilities. Provide subject matter expertise for cross-HQ 16 AF planning for new and existing IW initiatives that support space operations, OW, SDA, and SEW missions. Incumbent will be expected to provide space inputs and recommendations to concepts of operation, strategies, campaigns, operational planning, briefs, and papers; must possess the knowledge to identify and apply policy and appropriate authorities to plan and execute 16 AF integrated space ISR missions as part of 16 AF’s broader IW operations. Requires ability to adopt and embrace an IW mindset for collaboration with SMEs of other IW disciplines to develop new, innovative cross-domain operational methods. Represents 16 AF/616th Operations Center across a variety of functional area organizations and activities. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with air components, service, Allied, joint IO centers, combat support agencies, combatant commands, interagency partners, academia and industry.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other analytic related field. Four years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience providing ISR support to DoD space operations
- Experience with ISR collection systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate Signals Analysis Training or equivalent
- Formal education in DoD Space Operations
- Advanced Signals Analysis Training or equivalent
