The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate career opportunity for an Information Technology (IT) Standards Technical Expert, based at Alexandria, Virginia.
This position provides technical subject matter expertise in the area of information technology standards in support of the DoD Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) Information Enterprise.
The primary focus of this job is to perform analysis, develop solutions, provide recommendations, and support IT Standards related activities.
A successful candidate will be a proven performer and self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Update MOU between DoD CIO and IC CIO for working IT Standards.
Reduce Technical Working Groups for the IT Standards Steering Group (ITSSG).
Revise the ITSSG SOP and refine the ITSSG process in coordination with DISA.
Determine the content of the information requirements of the ISTP.
Develop GTG-F tool requirements.
Conduct refresh of standards in DISR.
Provide IT Standards technical support to the Chat Ad Hoc working group.
Support other DCIO IE-Architecture and Engineering priorities and tasks as directed.
Develop briefings, information papers, reports, analysis and other requirements as needed to support the IT Standards mission of the DoD CIO.
Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years relevant experience, or
Master's Degree with 10-15 years in IT Systems Management or related Field,
and practical experience with DoD/OSD or equivalent organization.
U.S. Citizenship with Top Secret (TS) clearance (Secret with ability to quickly achieve a TS clearance).
Broad technical knowledge, expertise and ability to apply IT Standards.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional writing and document coordination skills.
