The Government Health and Safety Solutions Operation is seeking a Site Manager to be worked remotely with heavy travel.
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is responsible for providing a comprehensive health delivery system for American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN). The IHS Division of Oral Health (DOH) is responsible for providing dental services to over 2.2 million AI/AN in more than 400 IHS hospitals and health care centers. The principal automated health care system that supports IHS is the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS), which includes the Dental Data System (DDS). IHS DOH is replacing the DDS module with a commercial off-the-shelf Electronic Dental Record (EDR), Dentrix Enterprise. The Dentrix EDR will interface with RPMS and will provide all functionality required by IHS DOH.
The individual will perform the role of Site Manager, monitoring and overseeing the interactions between the Leidos EDR Management Team, installation, training and support personnel from Henry Schein One, and the sites assigned for deployment; providing overall day to day management/engineering support for a variety of services required to support the deployment of the Dentrix application to assigned Indian Health sites. Will use discretion and independent judgment to evaluate, recommend and implement new processes and techniques to support IHS requirements. Interacts with Henry Schein One Dentrix engineers and trainers as well as IHS local site staff to formulate and implement Dentrix EDR deployment plans for each assigned site. Will frequently act as the on-site consultant for IHS to provide advice to local site representatives regarding difficult and complex issues on his/her own. Responsible for monitoring the Dentrix site assessment, installation, and training at each IHS facility, providing the Program Manager with assessments of the Dentrix’s EDR solution performance following installation at each site, including rollout support, technical performance, user support, technical products and deliverables. Responsible for coordination, execution and documentation of the Installation and Acceptance (I&A) Test Plan, to verify that all implementation activities for a particular site have been performed, and the site personnel and systems are ready before it goes “live” using the EDR.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 5+ years of application testing/system engineering experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
Must have a good understanding of concepts and principles of project management in an application deployment environment and at least 5 years of experience with the following:
- Experience with HL7 messaging
- Experience with Intersystems Ensemble
- Experience with Microsoft suite of Desktop and Server Software to include Windows 10, Windows Server 2008/16, SQL Server, SharePoint and Microsoft Office, to include Project, Visio and InfoPath
- Experience with software application interface testing
Experience/Knowledge of Dentrix Enterprise (the EDR application) and/or the IHS Resource and Patient Management System, while helpful, is not required
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
