Leidos Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group has an opening for a Technical Architect II to support the DHMSM program in Vienna, VA.
The DHMSM program provides modernization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) capabilities for the Department of Defense. The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health (LPDH) is seeking candidates for the engineering team to support a number of positions to define, implement, deploy and sustain new capabilities for the MHS GENESIS DoD EHR system.
To conceptualize the design, development, integration and sustainment (break/fix) support for systems and associated interfaces in pre- and post-deployment phases. Support technical activities to stabilize system operation and ensure suitable system performance may also be required.
Analyze and study complex system requirements. Support system implementation and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques. Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Support software configuration management. Review current status of system applications and assist with the preparation of systems improvement recommendations.
Also, assist in the development of requirements in the subject matter area for moderately complex to complex systems related to information systems architecture, networking; telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management/electronic analysis, software, lifecycle management, software development methodologies, and modeling and simulation.
Demonstrate solid oral and written communication skills.
- BS Degree and 2-4 years’ experience.
- US Citizen
- Documentation of data flows and creation of system diagrams
- Ensuring small project compliance with corporate/program technical guidelines
- Troubleshooting of deployed IT systems, including databases
- Requirements interpretation and decomposition
- Software development methodologies, including testing
- Must be able to maintain an ADP2/IT2 Public Trust
- Cybersecurity implementations
