The Logistics & Mission Support (L&MS) Organization at Leidos is currently seeking a Quality Manager for the ASP/TSA program in Kuwait.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the quality management effort for the ASP/TSA-KU program. Develops, implements, and maintains a quality management system and continually improves its effectiveness in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. Be familiar with the transition requirements for ISO 9001:2015. Ensures the quality of services provided in accordance with the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and applicable Army Regulations. Organizes, coordinates, leads, and directs the activities of the Internal Auditor(s) and Document Control Lead, as applicable. Identifies areas for improvement and coordinates with management across the organization to develop process improvement plans. Initiates the corrective action process as required, monitors and reports progress, and reviews / assesses the effectiveness of resulting corrective actions and process improvements. Assists process owners with correcting identified nonconforming processes and coordinates with management to ensure the corrective actions are supported and resourced. Works with senior management and staff sections to develop all necessary policies and procedures. Serves as the primary liaison with Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) Quality Assurance Specialist on all external audits performed at the ASP/TSA-Kuwait. Prepares and presents oral, written, and graphic reports for senior management. Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Minimum of a four (4) year college degree from an accredited educational institution, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Minimum of 10 years of quality management experience which demonstrates increasing levels of responsibilities, and knowledge of ISO International Standards. Effective written and oral communication skills are required to work with all levels of the organization and the customer. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required. Must be familiar with the methodologies, tools and concepts of quality management. Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Kuwaiti Driver License (KDL) and a SECRET security clearance.
Desired Experience: Previous experience developing and implementing an ISO 9001:2015 compliant quality management system. Quality Auditor certified and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified (Black Belt a plus). Experience working overseas in Kuwait (region). Former military experience a plus.
