Job Description:

Leidos Corporate Finance Group has an immediate need for Treasury Analyst to assist with our treasury operations in Reston - VA. We are seeking a detail oriented, self-starter, with strong analytical and project management skills. In this role, you will work within a small team; but will retain an expanding area of direct responsibilities and increasing autonomy based on their initiative, capabilities and achievements.  The position will be structured to balance both special projects and routine work assignments.

This role has several areas of primary responsibilities:

Cash and Banking:

  • Develop, implement and optimize the company’s international bank account structure
  • Enhance and manage the global cash flow forecasting process, analysis and reporting
  • Identify global liquidity needs
  • Manage the opening, closing and maintenance of international bank accounts
  • Analyze international bank fees and negotiate pricing with banks
  • Execute Daily Wires

Foreign Exchange:

  • Identify, aggregate, analyze and report global currency exposures
  • Support FX program development and make recommendations to management
  • Execute FX spot transactions as needed

In-House Bank:

  • Manage Global In-House Bank Process


  • Develop and recommend short-term investment strategies for domestic and international entities


  • Support International M&A integration activities
  • Support the Assistant Treasurer of Operations and Treasurer with adhoc requests
  • Ensure Treasury SOX controls and governance are appropriate and adhered to
  • Provide back-up support to Assistant Cash Manager/Cash Manager
  • Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Treasury Workstation
  • Act as expert advisor on banking issues for the business units and other corporate functional areas
  • Work with banking partners to Identify best in class processes, tools and treasury strategies


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience in Treasury operations
  • Functional experience with general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, project management, or Inter-company loans
  • Must possess the ability to work with all levels of personnel with excellent leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and be detail oriented to expand knowledge and add value to the organization
  • Able to think “out of the box” to solve problem and make processes more efficient and effective
  • Must have experience with project work (life cycles, timelines, etc.)
  • Must be able to work successfully in a team environment in diverse locations
  • Possesses ability to organize and follow-through on multiple tasks, recognizes and attends to important details with accuracy and efficiency


  • Functional experience with Costpoint, HFM, and bank cash management portals
  • Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional time sensitive projects
  • Ability to grasp new ideas and skills quickly
