The Leidos Defense Group has an immediate career opportunity for a Data Management Professional based at Alexandria, Virginia.
This position is for the DoD Enterprise Architecture Program and will support the DoD Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) Information Enterprise with enterprise data management across DoD.
The primary focus of this job is to evolve, manage and oversee the DoD enterprise data environment (library).
A successful candidate will be a proven performer and self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Develop a DoD Data Strategy Action Plan.
Develop DoD Data Management Framework (DMF).
Coordinate and conduct formal staffing and comment adjudication of the DoD DMF.
Acquire approval of the DoD DMF by appropriate DoD data governance body.
Post DoD DMF to the DoD data.gov site.
Represent the DCIO IE in various Data working groups and governance bodies, as appropriate.
Develop a DoD Enterprise Data Model (EDM) that provides a single, integrated view of the data produced and consumed by the DoD.
Support development of data management-related policies and strategies.
BS Degree in Computer Science or related field or Master's degree with 10-15 years practical experience with
DOD/OSD or equivalent organization.
U.S. Citizenship with Top Secret (TS) clearance (Secret with ability to quickly achieve a TS clearance)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Exceptional writing and document coordination skills.
