Leidos is looking for a Project Administrator to join our team in Gatineau, Canada. 

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Administrator will provide administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required to projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in AFCCIS management personnel and project managers with routine tasks;

Assist in performing such tasks as maintaining project documentation and application/system libraries.

Act as the first point of contact in a "hot-line" situation by accepting incoming calls, logging calls, attempting to resolve simple problems and following established procedures for more difficult problems.

Track project change requests and Task Authorizations.

Maintain and update relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files; project information might include such things as project activity schedule, status reports, correspondence.

Communicate with project management and data processing professionals, technical users and end users on administrative matters related to the project, using DND e-mail or written reports.

Day to day project support of AF command and control teams and system needs

Assist with planning and monitoring of project work

Support project and technical team with routine tasks using office tools

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ten (10) years’ experience in supporting project teams and in coordinating project activities.
  • Ten (10) years demonstrated experience in tracking project funding envelop and expenditures.
  • Demonstrated capabilities equivalent to the management of relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files; including working with project activity schedules, status reports, correspondence.
  • Demonstrated administrative and technical support of a clerical nature as required in the provision of day to day operations
  • Canadian citizen, Secret Level II
  • College Degree preferred.  Minimum educational requirement is High School Diploma
