An exciting opportunity for a BAU support engineer who has experience working within customer environments.
This role will be reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, and involves working closely with the wider infrastructure team, customers and end users.
Skills / experience
Broad knowledge of infrastructure technologies across the customer estate (Networking (concepts inc. security), virtualisation (concepts), Windows Server inc. backup, patching, etc, AD, AD FS, Azure AD Connect)
- Provide tech support / assistance:
- Resolve Incidents;
- Troubleshoot solution major incidents;
- Perform Problem Management;
- Perform root cause analysis and lessons learned;
- Document fixes.
- Carry out patching.
- Write RFCs / present changes @ CAB working closely and liaising with other suppliers;
- Implement changes;
- Troubleshoot changes.
- Communicate and Collaborate:
- Attend customer workshops as and when required;
- Contribute to HLD and LLD’s as and when required;
- Offer and articulate technical and non-technical improvement suggestions (CSI).
