Leidos is seeking an Systems Engineering Intern located in California, MD.
The successful applicant will have a basic understanding of Systems Engineering. He or she will have a working knowledge of the following:
System Diagrams and Models
-Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security clearance and willingness to undergo the required government background investigation.
Work with the Systems Engineering team to document and diagram system requirements and requirement changes.
Develop system models
Learn and develop JIRA scripts
Participate in the documented system engineering processes
-Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline with an accredited college or university with an average 3.0 GPA.
-Knowledge Systems Engineering and Software Systems.
-Strong understanding of system requirements and system design concepts.
-Strong Communications Skills are important both written and verbal.
-Desire to learn and become part of a high performing team.
-U.S. Citizenship required.
-Experience with SysML.
-Experience with Database Design and XML.
-Experience with JIRA.
-Previous DoD Experience.
