The Origin program is in need of a Windows. Systems Administrator that has experience in VMWare virtual hosting environments, MS Windows Server 2012-2016 administration, Windows PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, VDI and NetAPP storage solutions. Applicant should be able to design and develop complex solutions without assistance from peers. Daily duties include O&M of virtual environments, patching, updating anti-virus and resolving security vulnerabilities. Should also be able to review peers' designs and ensure solution is sound. Must be able to work in a large team environment and collaborate when needed.

(This position may be in Chantilly or Tysons area)

Primary Responsibilities:

• The candidate would be responsible for maintaining a farm of mission critical servers that ingest customer data and store that data for up to 10 years.  
• Candidate would ensure that the servers are operable and healthy, performing upgrades and maintenance when needed.  
• Candidate will work with customer analysts to ensure environment meets their needs and is performing efficiently.  
• Application training will be provided to candidate so they can learn the ins and outs and provide appropriate support.
• O&M of large virtual hosting environment consisting of approximately 300 servers across 10 systems. 
• Must also provide tier 2/3 support of Windows environment from a systems administrator perspective 

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires BS degree and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience or experience in lieu of degree
• Must have a current TS/SCI with Poly
• 4 years of experience in Windows System Administration 
• Must understand virtual server technologies 

Preferred Qualifications:

• VMWare Vcenter expertise 
• NetAPP storage expertise

You will be required to pass both a customer required and administered medical and physiological screening, as a condition of employment.
