Job Description:
Administrative Security Representative Level 1 will adhere to a comprehensive one year plus US Government security training plan to become proficient in Department of Defense and United States Air Force multi-discipline sensitive compartmented information (SCI) security and Special Access Program (SAP) policies, practices and procedures in accordance with DoDD 5205.07 policy and it’s supporting manuals which include DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1 through 4 in addition to DoDM 5200.01 Volumes 1 through 4 and applicable Intelligence Community Directives.
The selected individual will initiate and adhere to all phases of the training plan through phase III of the plan in pursuit of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) through the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DSCA). Once security clearance actions are completed, the selectee will provide full time support to the USG customer via on the job training and direct application of the knowledge gained during training and will continue to pursue phase III professional certification.
All phases of the training will be closely monitored by the USG customer encompassing collateral, SCI and SAP classified material protection requirements through the following broad security disciplines; Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Communications Security, Operations Security, Transmission Security, to be administered and monitored by the USG.
The individual hired for ASR must meet the following requirements:
- Graduation from a Bachelor's program within 12 months of projected June 2020 start
- Have an strong interest in working with classified national security information
- US citizenship required
- Willingness to undergo a government clearance investigation to include a polygraph
REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Graduation from a Bachelor's program within 12 months start
- Knowledge of SAP and SCI preferred.
- Experience with desktop computing platforms (PC) and applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel); and database structures.
