Leidos is seeking a dynamic Field Engineer for SURTASS program in Virginia Beach, VA. The candidate will oversee existing hardware, software, network configurations and new system initiatives.
Duties include site support services and ensuring adherence to customer policy, direction and guidelines. Responsible for complex technical problems/issues through collaboration with colleagues.
Day to day operations of the SURTASS Operations Center (SOC). Direct interaction with embarked non-Leidos entities in support of the contract.
Ensure all rules and regulations are followed and security is maintained. Ensure all communications are concise and sent out in a timely manner.
- Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent military class “C” electronics maintenance school and 4 years of experience
- Electronics maintenance background
- Top Secret clearance
- Qualified in all SURTASS positions to include Senior Technical Advisor.
- Experience on U.S. Navy electronics equipment
- 600 sea day on the SURTASS program
- Worked in position under instruction for 2 missions.
