This contract is a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work that’s being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. The Technical Writer will provide technical writing support necessary to create and maintain system documentation as well as other supporting documentation such as presentations, blogs, training manuals, processes and procedures, guides, meeting minutes, etc. The successful candidate will be the sole Technical Writer on a small team consisting of a Process Engineer and Administrator supporting a new COR-T
TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelors Degree in related field of study and 4 or more years technical writing experience
A minimum of 2 years of technical writing experience documenting complex electronic equipment and systems.
A minimum of 1 year experience in effectively formatting technical publications to include writing, editing, illustration, interpretations, and depth of coverage.
Strong technical writing skills (clear, concise, and complete manner)
Strong grammar skills (grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage)
Knowledge of customer documentation standards
Strong oral communication skills
Willing to take initiative to develop systems expertise
Good teamwork qualities
