The Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Data Management System Architect to work in Clarksburg, WV. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the FBI mission. In support of the FBI mission, we are seeking innovative candidates to develop architecture-based assets for FBI data science and artificial intelligence efforts as defined. The primary focus will be to develop a vision and direction for FBI systems in the areas of AI/ML, Data Management, and Cloud computing.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform as an Data Management System Architect as a member of an agile scrum team to support the maintenance of this agile IT architecture-focused effort. The team will be responsible for creating artifacts pertaining to the incorporation of AI/ML, big data management, and the continuation of support for systems migrating to the cloud.
Basic Qualifications
**This position is eligible for relocation Assistance
The Candidate shall have a bachelor's degree and at least twelve (12) years of experience in the following areas:
- As System Architect with large scale systems, that includes seven (7) years of Data Management/Science experience, with an emphasis on identifying new and innovative ways to use existing large data stores to provide business value
- Performing architecture support to large systems handling petabyte-scale data.
- Developing strategies for the formation and maintenance of data lakes
- Implementation of data lakes in organizations with logically and physically separated data sources
The Candidate shall have at least five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
- Providing architectural support to systems operating in public clouds.
The Candidate shall have at least three (3) years of supporting development using Agile methodologies.
The Candidate shall possess a Top Secret (TS) personnel security clearance.
