The exciting Intelligence Group is seeking a talented Engineering student (undergraduate or graduate) for an internship as a General Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Mining Engineer) in Reston, VA. The work is performed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment within a government facility. Candidate must bring a creative, yet sound, approach to identifying and solving challenges in engineering and using software tools for modeling and simulation and for building your own tools. The successful candidate collaborates with a government staff and contractor team conducting reverse engineering of above and underground structures.
TS/SCI Clearance will be required to start. Due to time restraints, Top Secret clearance or above will be required for consideration.
- Use exploitation products, intelligence resources and engineering expertise to model physics and engineering problems.
- Collaborate with a matrixed team of intelligence analysts, imagery analysts, geologists to translate characterization engineering products into 3-D models for decision-making and weaponeering.
- Work with senior engineer to produce accurate assessments.
- Brief peers and senior officials regarding capability trends and analysis.
- Due to time restraints, Top Secret clearance or above will be required for consideration.
- Candidate will be entered into the SCI clearance pipeline with opportunity to pursue a polygraph, if needed.
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or a similar field.
Working knowledge of modeling and simulation software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI with polygraph (US Citizenship required per contract)
